The heat is on! As the FELMAUSA 2010 convention in the city of “brother love and sisterly affection” gets closer, enthusiasm is flying through
the roofs. I can’t wait to be there! Women organizations from far and wide are pumped up and in total gear to take over this year’s convention.
Wow! Why? You have not heard the news? “DA FAYA COMING FROM MY MOUTH?” But let me “LAY IT ON YOU BIG TIME!
Two of Liberia’s most celebrated Mandingo Stars are expected to grace this year’s FELMAUSA convention in Philadelphia, PA. These ladies
WILL LIGHT UP the stage on Friday night 7-2-2010, Saturday night 7-3-2010 and Sunday night 7-4-2010 during the most talked about
convention this year. “MY NAME OOO!”
One can recall few years back when these ladies came to the U.S, their audiences were so amazed by their individual performances that they
just couldn’t get enough. Various women organizations in the U.S. had to follow them from one state to another to enjoy their music, to enjoy
their company, to enjoy their unique styles of performing and to enjoy their blissful moments of merry making. “YOU AINT HEARD ANYTHING
YET MY FRIEND!”
This year, at this all important convention, in this all-time historic city of Philadelphia, in front of the “ IMPORTANT & BIG BIG PEOPLE, these
two ladies will face-off in what is expected to be one of the biggest events in Liberian Mandingo history. These two outstanding and well
celebrated stars will BRING IT ON! As the say: “THEY EQUAL, NO PARTING!” Come and see real competition as Djoma Fanta and Masebe
vigorously let out their melodious and ever-soothing tones in a fierce competition for the title of the BEST MANDINGO FEMALE SINGER OF
THE YEAR.
CHEE-NAY-KAY-MAY! I have got to see these two most talked about Liberian Mandingo musicians bring radiance to the Philly musical scene.
Without a doubt, brotherly love and sisterly affection will definitely be the highlight of the entire weekend.
According to reliable sources, the ladies are currently in the preparation stage of their trip to the U.S. – as they compile brand new songs for
some of the women organizations and prominent members of the Mandingo community here in the U.S.
AND GUESS WHAT? This will be the very first time, in their musical sojourn, for these two ladies to perform on the same stage, and compete
back to back, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. I AINT KNOW ABOUT YOU! BUT I SWEAR TO MY NAME, NOTHING MOH HAPPEN TO
MY HAY. I WILL REPRESENT!
