As part of its commitment to contribute to the post war growth of Liberia education system, the Muslim Congress Alumni Association in the United States of
America has donated 600.00 USD as contribution towards students sitting for this year’s WAEC exam. According to the Program director of the Association,
Mr. Kafumba Kenneth, the contribution was made in fulfillment of the organization pledge made sometime last year. He also noted that the association is
planning to undertake programs that will raise funds to provide scholarships to deserving students. In conclusion, he commended the Alumni Association
members in Liberia for their continuous efforts and sacrifices made toward the growth of the institution. The statement was delivered by Mrs. Tenneh Kenneth
( former student) who is currently on vacation in Liberia.
Receiving the money on behalf of the school was Mahmoud Kiadii, President of the Alumni Association in Liberia, Mr Kiadii expressed his profound gratitude
to the association members in the US and said he was not surprise of such gesture because in July 2009 the Alumni Association in the US sponsored a
Prayer Service for Deceased members, teachers, and alumni of the Muslim Congress High school. Also speaking at the occasion was the president of the
senior class and the registrar of the school, they both lauded the association and described the gesture as timely. The donation was made On Tuesday April
